This folky musical tells a little-known side of the 9/11 saga

The Broadway musical Come From Away tells the tale of the 38 planes full of Americans who were diverted to Newfoundland on 9/11, when they were welcomed with open arms by the hospitable locals. Drawing from traditional Newfoundland folk music, the songs capture each phase of the event's emotional roller-coaster, including the fear and confusion of "28 Hours/Wherever We Are," the anger and paranoia of "On the Edge," and the kindness and compassion of "Stop the World."
