The Punjabi hip-hop up-and-comer shares a sextet of smooth tunes

If rising Canadian-Punjabi rap star Sukha felt any pressure following up on his previous EP, 2023’s UNDISPUTED—which features his biggest global hit to date in “8 ASLE”—he shows no sign of it on this slick set of dance-friendly tracks, most of which he created with favourite beatmaker prodGK. Sukha sounds as self-assured as ever, strutting effortless swag (G-funk-inspired opener “Ask ’Em”) and occasionally showing his sentimental side (the intensely romantic “Hey Luv”). Fans of “8 ASLE” will likely gravitate towards the fiery “DASS JATTA”, which has him vibing once again with vocalist Gurlez Akhtar.
