This is the first album l bought at 12 years old - lm 52 now. This album will never grow old, unlike me.

It is a masterpiece- every note is pure joy for me. David is a genius, l think Hunky Dory is his best but it’s a tough choice, others are brilliant too of course. Preaching to the converted here!

I have been listening to this album for most of my adult life, and its impact grows with every listen. The greatest artists have moments of pure clarity, perfect joyous moments where everything fits, every word, every phrase, every note melts into one glorious movement.

It is obvious to those who really know his music that David Bowie's Hunky Dory is a work of genius from one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century. Changing his approach many times throughout his long career Bowie created beautiful music over 5 decades, but never surpassed this extraordinary work.

Rest in peace.

Always think it's a rather morbid shame when some people have to wait till an singer dies before taking the time to appreciate a uniquely fantastic artist. So many of Bowies back catalogue back in the charts without him around to reap the benefits. Happen with Queen and Jackson too - shame in a way...

First LP I bought after my Bowie mad big brother suggested I invest 2 weeks pocket money going 'halfers' on Hunky Dory, the new album by David somethingorother. Obvious con, but worked out fine.

Never tire of listening to this. R.I.P. David 🎼

R.I.P David, you were an inspiration to many and a star in the music world hope your having a great time up there you deserve it!
