It's a delight, as I'd expect, to hear John Hegley deliver his utterly inimitable songs and poetry in his untterly inimitable style. Nobody does it better, nobody does it with such relish, pathos and bittersweet deadpan aplomb. Hats off to Mr Hegley.
Glorious, groovy. Very funny. A friend dragged me to see John, kicking and screaming, to 'poetry'. ug. Well it was wonderful. The world is an infinitely better place for this man. Thankyou, John.
After years of seeing John perform his poetry at a variety of venues across the south east it is great to find an album of his work... the only downside is that 'amoeba' isn't on here as I want to play that to my class so much!
If you have to choose, listen to Luton Bungalow and armadillo first... they always make me smile!
I know life can be trying.... Can't get my head around this one. I listen to music to take me away from the hussle and bussel. Can't class this one for a family favourite...can't class this one at all. This is not a feel good factor. Just depressing. I find enough of this around the M25.
