I'd never listened to Paradise Lost but after some outstanding end of year reviews of this album, I downloaded it.

It is outstanding. Majestic and ethereal, heavy and soaring melodic death metal! It grows with each listen and I have it on constantly. Will have to delve into the back catalogue.
