This is the second time I have written this review, first time I wanted to single out certain tracks and realized I had written them all down. Great band love a bit of the blues. They cover all emotions from toe tapping head bopping, to eyes closed listening to something truly beautiful at one with everything. I love this band one of my favorites straight away!

Good but.......

Mixed thoughts on this album. Bought it because of the advert- who is that??
The roadhouse blues stuff is brilliant then it fades into the quiet but not that interesting end songs. Is the last one meant to be a homage to Zeppelin?

Couldn't recommend more!

Listened to this album since end of 2016 on Spotify, and have purchased on both CD and iTunes, on of the best albums released ever in my opinion.

Just Brilliant

After hearing A few of their song on the show Lucifer, I finally bought the album. It’s not often an album has this many good songs on it.

I was mindlessly clicking through iTunes, totally borred of what I was listening to. I heard 30 seconds of No Good and thought, this is actually pretty good. I previewed a couple of other tracks and quickly decided that I was buying this album right now, and that I had found something that was going to very quickly become special in my music collection. It's the big gruff bluesy numbers like No Good, Way Down We Go and Glass House that caught my attention, but so songs such All the pretty girls are uncommonly good too. Fantastic stuff.

F*CKING MIND BLOWING ‼️

Kaleo's debut album is just intoxicating; so punchy, brimming with depth and meaning, and such beautifully rich sounds. Particularly amazing when heard live, just wish they didn't spend so much time in the US as I want them here!!

Tremendous

Incredible variety in one record. The uplifting rock of 'Hot Blood', 'Glass House' and 'No Good' to the stripped back blues of 'Broken Bones', the one constant is that you'll want to go back for more. 'I can't go on without you' and 'save yourself' are beautiful and 'Automobile' is probably my favourite of the lot. My favourite album of 2016.

great mix of songs

My new favorite band in this era! :) Broken Bones is something I have been waiting to hear in 2000s and Kaleo has nailed it , giving you the feeling of being on the road just like Highway to Hell or Road to Hell. Will definatly go to their gig in London Novermber 23rd.

Amazing

Having read all the reviews they say it all. Not one negative.
This is the best debut album I have heard in a very, very, very long time.
They have created their own style blending the best of rock, blues, folk.
Can not stop playing this iconic album, every track is solid.
Need a UK tour soon please boys. We will forgive you for the football.

Love it!

I think so. It is that good. This band is that good. Each song nails it. The Icelandic folk song is inspired. The musicianship and ability to get the sound they want drives the album. Bold, not over produced and JJ's vocals are of a frontman who is quietly confident of his abilities. They'll be filling arenas by their third album. Kings of Leon: watch out.

Brilliant!
