After the brilliant Silent Enigma and Eternity, Anathema get rid of a lot of the metal in their music to become fairly similar to Pink Floyd. However, they are better (And Floyd are certainly a good band), and I actually prefer this to Eternity and such. In this, Anathema portray utter hopelessness in all its glory... OK, so maybe glory wasn't the right word there. But it's still some amazing work. The most catchy song is Empty, which I must admit took me by surprise, but has grown on me now. However, my favourite song on the album is 'Lost Control'.

But the album on the whole is brilliant, so it's hard to pick a few best songs. Just buy it.

This album literally helped me get through a lot of personal suffering and over-analysing i was going through when i first started listening to it.

"lost control" and "regret" are definitely the ones to look out for in my oppinion but all the songs are amazing and im not just throwing that out there like you do at an average cd. I mean it more than you could ever imagine. THIS CD IS A MUST... IF I ONLY HAD THE CHOICE TO BUY ONE CD IN MY LIFE I WOULDNT REGRET BUYING THIS ONE...
