Stunning
Just picked up this album in 2019, can't believe how great it is dark, compelling, and dramatic, superb. Mr Numan certainly dosen't get the exposure he deserves.

A slow burner...
Once again you come across a real gem. Like the best things in life, it takes time to really appreciate something special.

Speechless. Like all his albums; pure class.
Downloaded this last night. No album I've heard is so intelligent, yet visceral, or tender. Gary, I'm so sorry you felt you had to move to the US to find success again- you deserve much more praise and respect.

I instinctively felt this was a brilliant album on hearing a minute of the first track : then hearing a segment of the other tracks confirmed for me !
The feel, the mood, the lyrics, the sound and sound-scape just simple hit the spot for me at this stage in my life, as if I have been subconsciously searching for something holy grail..'ish' in order to resolve some issues I have been carrying and to just provide some reassurance ...well here is ! Free at last !!

Amazing album
Gary Numan may have waited 32 years to match his first 3 albums but he's finally done it! Splinter is Atmospheric, industrial and beautiful. I saw him live in 1979 and then again this year - he's a legend!

Sublime, insiteful and beautifully written
Gary Numan enters a new era, some of the most haunting, soft, and melodious songs so far. Been a fan since 1980, as he has matured so has his music. Great album, proud to say it is now in my collection of the best
