Talking Heads never made a bad album; David Byrne has never made an album I needed to own. It's a sad puzzle to me.

Highly recommended as one of the albums of 2018! These songs have lots of DB-style ideas (wry observations full of both humor and empathy) swirling around them and so it takes a few listens to get your head around the breadth of this release. David Byrne’s albums are usually packed full of ideas and diverse musical styles and sounds that work with surprisingly well together. This is no exception although the words are very much front and centre here. I read a review that likens these songs to his role as the Narrator in the True Stories movie and that’s a good comparison as he is once again acting as a commentator delivering his lines with deadpan humour.

Can’t wait to see these songs performed live!!

talking heads, for someone my age are a band that will stand the test of time. Thank the Lord we were there and 'got' them. Would buy this album (album!!!) just for this track. David Byrne as usual doesn't disappoint. You are always welcome at my house xxxx 10 stars
