I love this album a lot

This album is very much a follow on to Evolve but with more pop and less stand out songs. Personally I think its been pushed out too quickly and the band need to start "evolving" with more song depth and less pop hooks. However I would say it's nice to listen to but do I always want nice?

Don’t get me wrong I love this band but this seems quite messy for them (digital) also quite a lot of generic electric beats (only is the most horrific chainsmokers type song)

BUT there are good tracks such as Machine (my personal favourite) natural west coast and real love which utilise the talent within the band and aren’t songs I feel I’ve heard a thousand times before.

There was so much technical musicianship in the first two albums really showcasing their talent which I feel this lacks, where’s Wayne’s amazing guitar solos, and Platzs big drum beats. I’m not saying they should only do big anthems and rock songs because West coast a very country song is beautiful but in the main this album could have been made my a much less talented band.

There is no doubt of the talent of Imagine Dragons, and I do like this album. The only thing I’d say is that it seems a little bit of mess in terms of songs. Digital and Bullet in a Gun are awful in my opinion, but I do really like Bad Liar and Machine.

I love a few of the songs but it seems that the amount of rocky-ish songs are reducing. Evolve had Believer but like Smoke and Mirrors has a few rocky songs which were great but only Machine in this album

Just two tracks have been released and I’m freaking out waiting for this album to come out! Imagine Dragons never let us down so I’m waiting for it to come out (which is probably at midnight since I’m English and they’re 6 hours behind) and I can’t wait to listen to all of these songs

Edit: I know I’m being impatient but it’s the tenth on November... I thought it came out yesterday

From the two released tracks, this album looks like it will be a very good one from Imagine Dragons.

It's already amazing, I won't rate too high just yet but so far great comeback. (Super underrated of course)
