One of the last musical genius in my book. This album follows on from his band Talk Talk’s seminal albums Spirit of Eden and Laughing stock. Everything is distilled even further. One man, piano, guitar and some sparse woodwind. The words as always only half understood. Lost in the mix. But it is a beautiful record. Always hoped for more music after a lengthy gap . Sadly this was his last offering. RIP Mark. Still sadly missed.
