We need more songs like this, not to say there aren’t any other great songs out at the moment

...fortunately (or unfortunately for this album) I heard Live at St Pancras Old Church. For me, Freya is way better live on a stage with classical instruments. I have waiting for this album for a quite a while but was quite disappointed. The studio recordings just don't work for me at all sadly.

London Grammar copy. Sorry Freya, you mumble too much and all the songs are the same, not original and Hannah Reid has a far purer voice and is a far better singer.

How can you not like Freya Ridings? Very talented, amazing vocals and very well written songs.

All the songs are the same, castles is repetitive and it’s like London grammar and Florence and the machine, i don’t recommend this album for anyone looking for new fresh music.

A really gd polished first album

This album is breathtaking! So well written and her voice has got a natural rawness! Thankyou Freya, felt every bit of emotion on this album! A must buy!

So few albums I find today that I love every track. This is brilliant- Freya, I want to marry you!

I first heard “Lost Without You” a few weeks after it was used on Love Island and I was drawn in to Freya’s music from there. I saw her at Cambridge Junction and she was a totally amazing live performer (her band too). Every track was note perfect and delivered with such energy and soul. She was so genuinely thrilled we were all there to see her. I’ve seen a lot of established artists over the years and this was a stand out gig. The negative comments from some purchasers are a bit harsh to be honest.

She’s been touring like a trouper, doing so much promotion etc. If you think you’ve heard it all before, that’s because she’s totally worked her bits off promoting the album. Everyone starts somewhere and I applaud her for her hard work, tenacity, gracious appreciation AND her incredibly insightful lyrics and beautifully written music. She’s absolutely her own genuine person and not trying to emulate anyone.

A hidden track or previously unreleased song would have been amazing, if course, but this is her first album for goodness sake! I think it’s well worth the cash and DEFINITELY go and see her live if you can. These young artists need our support and Freya Ridings is more than worthy x

Never heard of her but decided to flick through a full new albums. Listened from beginning to end. Brilliant album.

I've been eagerly awaiting this album after first hearing "Lost Without You" last year. I still think this song is my favourite on the album but there are a number of other great tracks and only one that I'm not that bothered about. It's a kind of hybrid of London Grammar and Florence and the Machine, which is no bad thing at all as far as I'm concerned as I'm a big fan of both.

I just wish Freya would enunciate better as it's difficult to tell what's she's singing sometimes and it ends up sounding a bit gobbledygook.
