This Is Will back to what he does best. It is chilled, mellow and deeply moving...it goes straight to the heart. Stand out tracks are scars,ground running and freedom. But a great album all round

Brilliant album. Favourites are ‘All the Songs’ and ‘Forever’ The latter is like a house tune. All have different vibes, but blend into the album well. You won’t be disappointed. Worth the wait although I hope the next album is quicker!

Will has done some good stuff in the past, but after giving this album a casual listen, it has grown and grown and grown. Some of these songs are so catchy.....My Love, Forever, All the Songs, Scars, The Way we Were....the more you listen the better they get....sign of a great album!

Cracking album William- you’ve been missed

Best album of his career. Sublime pop, truly at it's best. Will's voice has never sounded so good! You can genuinely tell he means every single word that he sings. Although I have always liked Will Young, I have never quite loved him......until now. Upon first listen I was a little underwhelmed. However, upon the 3rd or 4th listen the songs started to grow their own individual personalities, but always sharing a common album thread. Persoanl favourites so far are ALL THE SONGS, GET ME DANCING, GROUND RUNNING, SAY ANYTHING, and FAITHLESS LOVE. First album I have actually bought of Will's. I even splashed out on the Limited Edition Orange Signed Vinyl. Who knew that an artist would release his best work 16 years into his career.

I loved Echos and I thought 85% Proof was excellent too. This is a step back to Echo’s production via the same producer. It’s not had the same impact but it is growing on me. I love electronic music and it’s definitely a great fit for Will. The songs aren’t as strong as Echo’s or 85% Proof tho. But I’d much rather he release this than nothing which is what it looked like for a while. 3 stars is a recommendation as far as I’m concerned.

His best album since Echoes - can’t stop listening. His voice is instantly recognisable in all his music but I can’t stop singing some of these tunes in my head!

Loved Will for years but this is just the same old stuff - sounds like the tracks that didn’t make it onto Echoes

I don’t often listen to full albums! However this is just easy listening it has your slow songs your up beat songs it’s just fab! My personal favourite is “Ground Running” enjoy it guys!

After loving him since day one this album shows the talent and the voice that is Will Young!

Downloaded this pre holiday. Played it at least four times in three days! Easy listening, background music.

Modern and current.... well worth a download if you like his music.

I’m enjoying listening to Will Young’s album and have listened to it many times already. It feels very safe though, which is disappointing, but over all it’s still a decent album. Echoes and 85% Proof are still Will’s best as far as I’m concerned.

I’ve never followed his career and heard the album in a friends car and was blown away that it was Will young! Very impressed

I can here your very distinctive voice and that’s good I have always loved and support ed your music since Pop idol and this certainly does not disappoint don’t ever change the way you sing or the very meaningful lyrics and I’m so glad your singing again and on tour hopefully I can get there but never give up you are to talented and so empathetic to do so and being so open about your struggles with mental health really helps

Usually I check out albums on YouTube and leave it at that. Lexicon is an exception - incredible album and each track has its own style whilst still being true to Will as an artist.

Richard X has worked his magic once again as the producer. As much as I enjoyed 85% Proof, I personally think Lexicon is Will Young's strongest body of work since Echoes.

What do you do when you’re desperate fir a number one album when the pre-album singles fail to make a dent on the charts?

You sell your album for half price.

If you like Will Young’s voice and enjoyed his best album to date, (Echoes), you will certainly enjoy this. It’s not quite at the same level as the aforementioned but well worth a listen. The first two singles are obvious stand out tracks but “Forever”, “Scars” and “The Way We Were” are on point. More of the same please.....

trying to be experimental with his production is just a bit cringey

This album is so close to perfection. I want to call this album ‘grown up pop’ - Will’s voice is so captivating, the songs are instantly relatable and it is sooooo good x

What a voice - so happy to have Will back.

Stand out tracks on first few listens are Keep Running, Dreaming Big, Forever (so happy this one saw the light of day!) Faithless Love (wow!) and The Way We Were.

It’s Echoes part 2 but even better - well done all involved. Looking forward to hearing these songs live on his tour later this year 🙌🏻

Just listened to the two available tracks... now pre-ordered. I have to say, ‘My Love’ left me speechless. What a beautiful song, incredible production, his voice has never sounded so good.

Always appreciated his talent since all those years ago on ‘that’ show... but... this makes Will Young relevant again. It’s a shame he takes long breaks, his musical talent is on the same level as George Michael.

On the strength of the single, where yet again his whiny voice is like nails down a chalkboard. How he's had a career is beyond belief, his voice is awful.

This is the best I’ve heard from him since the album echos is the sequel to that judging by the 1st track can’t wait till June for the album release! Well done to all involved!!!
