Ksi & Randolph- New Age 2019

New Age- In this song, they talk about themselves going into a “new age” of music. Randolph sounds good with autotune and has a good chorus and an alright verse. Then there is a beat switch and ksi does a hard verse that gets people jumping. It certainly isn’t the best but a pretty good intro. 6/10

Beerus- They both go in hard on this song. The instrumental is really good and helps the song be more exciting. The lyrics were a lot better on this song too. This was one of the songs where I thought Randolphs verse was the better out the two. Great song. 8/10

Champagne- By far the best flow on the album, Ksi talks about his success. It sounds great. Randolphs chorus isn’t really needed. His is pretty good though so it’s alri. This song is a good touch to this album. 7/10

Clean- Ksi yet again has a good flow in this song. The lyrics are a lot better too. Lyrics like “I’m the catalyst, I keep it moving like an enzyme” is something you wouldn’t believe Ksi wrote. Randolph’s chorus didn’t really sound right and his verse wasn’t really the best. Alright song with some good lyricism. 6/10

Real Name- They both talk about their relationships in this song with Randolph again having the better verse. The chorus was quite catchy and Talia Mar’s vocals sounded very nice. This song gives you a happy feeling but it’s not the best. 7/10

Slow Motion- This song sounded ok but there was a lot of AUTOTUNE used which ruined a bit of the song for me. They both sounded alright but the autotune should have been lowered. 5/10

Red Alert- This song was quite an emotional one. They both went in on their verses and talked about some real things like how important family is and how some girls only want them for the money. It was a deep song. 7/10

Bow Down- Ok this song wasn’t very good. There was no real punchlines or meanings in any of the lyrics and it was just quite boring. For some reason Ksi didn’t have a verse either he only handled the hook. Look the song wasn’t great. 3/10

Pull Up- Ksi solo song. There was a great flow on this song and the instrumental killed it. JME went in on his verse with lots of punchlines. KSI did well too. Probs the best on the album. 8/10

Roll The Dice- Randolph has a great verse on this song and did the best chorus on the album. Quadeca also killed it with his verse. Good end to a pretty good album. 7/10

In the end, this album had it’s highlights there definitely some things that sucked about it but mostly postitives. These two did pretty well.

Overall Grade: B-

Great Album. Intro was superb. Pull Up, Red Alert and Beerus are top tier. Good production.

This is my first review I am ever writing. There are some good songs on here like Champagne, Red Alert and Slow Motion but there are many songs on here that sound incredibly similar

New age as a debut album for KSI is reasonably good. However the songs are too similar and the album will get boring after a few hearings
