Like one of the other reviewers, I always wanted to hear more of the Daniel-style synth direction, and this really delivers. Apparently it began life as a score to a Stephen King TV adaptation (I hope that's still in the works), and it is shot through with a cinematic sparkle. All of the 80s sonic touchpoints are there – sweeping synth pads and tinkling arpeggios, Disintegration-style jangling guitars, soaring vocals – along with some of the fuzzy MBV-inspired reversed guitar lines. Her best album yet. Next can we have more collaboration with Jon Hopkins please, Natasha? Thanks in advance X

Beautiful album, such an immersive mood piece...totally creates a whole world, nostalgic and dreamy. Natasha has never sounded better, and almost a Cocteau Twins vibe to the soundscapes.

A beautiful album clearly inspired by 80s movie culture.

After Daniel in 2009 I always wanted to hear her perform an album in that tone and this doesn’t disappoint.
