everyone else in the comments don’t really understand the concept of the album, it’s about her PERSONAL journey navigating a depression and learning to deal with it, and maybe even overcoming it. she’s been #1 and has all the money in the world, you really think she was aiming for another ‘Teenage Dream’ ??? no, this is for the fans && people who can relate to the cry for help of which ‘Witness’ was. i got my smile back and so has she !! :))

It’s a shame, Katy just seems to be getting worse! She is better than this album. Come on Katy where has your hit singles such as Roar and Firework gone?

Tucked and Cry About it Later are absolutely phenomenal tracks. Album as a whole is very... meh tbh. Generic, sounds similar to other songs in her discography. It’s just ironic she has a song called Never Really Over when, let’s face it, her career kinda is

I love the cohesion of this pop album and the story that it tells and each song is a bop, I don't find myself skipping any of the tracks.

This album is one of Katy Perry’s masterpieces. She’s managed to work her way throughout a pandemic and do it whilst pregnant with her daughter Daisy Dove. The production value on the album is high end an top as always. The album also tells the story of Katy finding her Smile once again. Filled with hope, love and happiness. Brilliant album.

£10.99 for less than 40 minutes of music, such a disgracefgul ripoff and the reviews on Metacritic are very medicore. It will be interesting to see who has the stamina to last as long as Madonna. Many of the crowns to be are failing. Let's see what R9 does and whilst Chromatica is enjoyable to listen to, it doesn't have the real ooomph I wanted from Gaga's comeback album

This song brings out the best in Katy Perry. An album that has long been overdue.

What an incredibly addition to Katy’s discography. After witness (which I actually loved) I think she needed some sort of redemption code that showed she wasn’t here to mess around with her own emotions. A real album that creates a whole world of uncoated, unsweetened yet naturally beautiful creations. No skips needed on this album. I only hope others hear her sound and smile along with her.

Smile the single grew on me and liked the other songs released but as a whole the album could be by any current female artist. Nothing new... and she really needs to try something new as the flops have already started.. maybe a grower and take a few listens but in no hurry to go back and listen.

... if you like that type of stuff fill your boots, but she has shown no growth or progression in her career with this release,if anything she’s regressed to safer territory. Her compatriots are plumbing new streams of inspiration. Perry remains a candy pop girl going nowhere new, sadly.

Album of the year already and hope fully she does a collaboration with Tay Tay aka Taylor Swift they are my top two fave singers

After the disaster that was ‘Witness’, Katy is back on form. ‘Never Really Over’ is a great song and should have been pushed harder as the lead single. I’m glad ‘Harleys in Hawaii’ made the cut too, despite under performing. ‘Daisies’ wasn’t the best single choice, but luckily she didn’t waste too much time in pushing out ‘Smile’ as the next single. I hope this album puts her back at the top where she belongs, she really does create some brilliant pop songs when she brings her A game. Love the album artwork too 🤡
