Quite possibly Shirley Bassey’s most accomplished album. The iTunes digital version sounds better than any other and really highlights the beauty of the orchestrations and SB’s stunning vocals. After her long-term deal with United Artists came to an end in 1979, this marked the beginning of a sporadic period of recording … only three albums during the 1980s … this one is a real gem; sonically and creatively superb. It deserves to be better known.
