This album has its ups, but can feel repetitive.

It’s Ariana she always delivers. This album seems to be a grower for a lot of people but we all know it’s one of her best

This feels like the final chapter in the journey of healing Ariana started with ‘Sweetener’ it feels like a full circle moment for her. ‘Sweetener’ was about facing adversity head on with love, ‘Thank U, Next’ looked at the darker side of it all focusing on grief and unpacking trauma. Positions focuses on healing, and the joy that it can bring, including the possibility of new love.

I’ve always viewed the three as a trilogy of sorts as sonically they share many similarities. However, Ari’s pen game and vocals on this album are top tier. And it will be hard to find an album released this decade with vocals/vocal production as breathtakingly intricate as this.

Yes it may not have the staple ‘pop bangers’ that people want from her, but that is not the point of this album, this is an R&B album. And as such she delivers on every track from the diaristic opener ‘Shut Up’ to the whistle staple ‘My Hair’ all the way to the best ballad of her career to date: ‘POV’.

This album is my second fav after my everything. I can get the sings outta my head. Yall r alm sayin”ooohhhh ir sounds rhe same i cant believe it omgg im gnna die bc it sounds the same!!!!!” Wel believe it or not, yur not gnna die. Its so catchy and nice like her last album and she recently experienced the desth of Mac Miller wich ppl r blaming that on Ari. She doesnt deserve it and yu kno it. And yu guys jus wont stop complaining about the swearingg. Shes a grown woman and she swears getton with it!!! Honestly gets better the more and more you listen to it. This album is definitely underrated and I don’t get why people shut it down over every song being explicit? Like that’s literally the entire point of the non explicit version?

Her worst album

the album is okay but it's nothing new. it sounds very similar to her last to albums and it just sounds like the same recycled instrumentals she used last time. a few of the songs are really good but overall it's just underwhelming especially because of how good her last album was.

Not the best album yet but it’s okay, I feel that she has too many looped tracks on this album, haven’t brought it this time because i really wanted something a little rememberable but overall it’s a average album nothing special and a little rushed, I feel myself skipping so many songs.

idc what anyone says, ariana’s music just gets better every year, I’m happy she’s finally doing the music she loves and that it’s showcasing her growth in maturity and strength, being a stan for so long before she even released her debut album and growing up with her for years has been a beautiful journey, you need to cut some slack on this woman because she spreads nothing but amazing music and people only hate on her like it’s a trend, but locals will be locals I guess, don’t be trying to get concert tickets if she plans on doing tour in a couple years 😌

Great album! There is not a single song from this album that I dislike... BUT... almost every song is about s*x. It just gets a little boring after a while if that’s all that she can sing about. She needs to go back to singing nice songs that people can relate to.

So hateful reviews out there. Gosh. Don’t sound so dumb, please...This album is THE best! It’s giving me positive vibes, it’s full of energy and it’s FUN to listen over and over and over again. If there’s anything this album is not, it’s being pretentious. This album came out as a surprise and it gave me and is still giving me a surge of a much needed dopamine especially at this depressing and challenging times. So back off, K?! This album is a 100 +1 period.

I agree this isn’t my favourite Ariana album. I love her previous albums and it’s taken me a while to enjoy this. I just think she’s taken a moment and released something for herself. It’s still good music but more chilled. Hopefully she’ll be back with a more upbeat album next time

A few songs are ok (Safety Net, My Hair, Positions) but the rest is just dull and repetitive trap-pop with some R&B. Really disappointing.

Stick with the title track, that’s the best track here, and probably the only one really worth buying.

Completely get she’s a grown adult but when your 9 year old daughter has been waiting for this new album and just flicking through it’s just not suitable because of the language and context it’s used. We just bleep the odd word usually but think I will have to keep this album from her. Shame.
