I happened upon this by pure chance and took a gamble, it was the right choice.

iTunes has listed this as Jazz, now if the Portico Quartet have also called it Jazz then I apologise, but I would not describe it as Jazz.

If the names Steve Reich, Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass, Anna Meredith and 65daysofstatic mean anything to you then you will absolutely love this album. And yes, I did just put 65dos in the same group as Reich, go figure.

Crazy looping repetitive rhythms, soaring sax, deep bass, fabulous percussion, I love it.
