If you leave a bad review on this I will come and find you.She poured her heart out into this album and if that’s not good enough for you then you must be a soulless monster because anyone who’s gone through something like divorce,them or their parents, is obviously going to suffer trauma and heartbreak-it’s like the one thing that you thought was constant in your life is gone and there’s no way to put it back and it-especially if you are a small child- it exposes you to a world in which people are unable to love and the veil is ripped from their eyes.I think Adele was very brave to address such a heartbreaking, widespread issue that leaves so many people feeling like the constant has dropped out of their lives.And I am so so so proud of her.Look at how far you’ve come. God bless.

Adele has some talent but I wouldn't say she's 'off the scale'. This is very similar to her previous offerings. Not bad but not exceptional either.

Come on, no denying you have a fantastic voice but sing something happy. I liked rolling in the deep especially the backing ‘never had a parakeet, never had a baa baa sheep’ but it’s all heartbreak.

Do something new and reinvent not all this sad drivel. It’s like looking out the window on a desk and rainy day.

Make no mistake Adele is very talented, thats obvious. Still has a powerful voice & relevant Lyrics within this album.

Personally I would like to see her release more music moving forward but change up her style, genre & go in new directions musically would be good to see what else she has to offer.

I doubt the above will happen but maybe one day.

I can’t give this album 5 stars because it’s not as relatable to me personally, however she is very talented.

A tour de force from Adele.

Such a raw and honest body of work. Very different to her previous works which might have thrown some off.. but you can’t help but appreciate her experimenting with sounds and genres on this album. So we’ll executed, i’m in love!

For any musician that plays anything, Adels’ song writing, melodic skills and stunning delivery are nothing short of breathtaking. If ever music was made to move the soul then this girl reaches in, grabs your heart and let’s you know you are not alone in your human journey. Another masterpiece of an album with at least 2 songs that match the best of musical output of the last few decades. It’s an album to have to give to your grandchildren to let them know you understood what it was to live.

Listened with an open mind, yet found the experience pretty dull and skipped through most of the songs after a few minutes. Glad I’ve got Spotify as there are far more enjoyable ways to spend £8.99. She’s seems a genuine person but this album isn’t great and seems to appeal mainly to those who would love whatever she puts out regardless.

I am a huge fan of Adele’s previous albums but the tracks on 30 are so confusing and the track listing it terrible. Sounds like cheap 90’s R&B crap in places and more commercial pop than quality lyrics and music written by Adele herself. Hoping 35 will be better :)

She is such a one dimensional performer, many times she sounds like a strangled cat, her publicity machine gets her on top of the charts, but so many more talented singers out there who deserve a chance and never get it.

Absolute corker of an album, I could genuinely listen to it on repeat. It’s so immersive and heartfelt and you can just feel how much Adele has grown with every song; even the interlude is perfect. Album of the year for sure.

Adele’s fourth foray into more uncharted lands steams ahead with a sensational maturity. She’s used the six-plus years along with lockdown – as most artists have done – to explore genres and ideas that were hinted upon in earlier work. Make no mistake, this is a lockdown album – which is open, plainspoken and blunt. Here she recalls events of the last six or more years on her son’s growth, her development through divorce and her own bodily issues which she has carried over her earlier albums. It’s a breakout album that highlights the issues in hindsight, where she repeats emotional connections; she had to past events but manages to showcase her attitude to reacting to them now.

“My Little Love” is a love letter to her growth as a mother and her young son. How motherhood hit her hard and fast but the track feels like a jazz-spoken track in its cadences. Here she breaks down about her isolation and how loneliness doesn’t tag with being alone. People around you can make you feel alone and sometime being by yourself is he most rewarding company. “Can I Get It” is very alternative for the singer-songwriter, it presents as an earlier track that she has reworked into this newest volume of work; “I Drink Wine” goes for that simple piano/bass accompaniment track, but far more uplifting and feels like a sarcastic through back to issues she worried about that ultimately meant nothing in the long run. “Oh My God” is that dance clap-back track that is a jump in tempo before the rest of the album begins to settle the dust. “All Night Parking” feels like a collaboration for Adele that owes itself to a contemporary of hers – Amy Winehouse, Adele often credits Winehouse and this feels like a honouring track. “Woman Like Me” & “Hold On” are stripped back and feels like a song fitting for a James Blake record. She’s taken notes from James Blake and Laura Mvula on this record for the slower progressive arrangements. The latter contemporary showing her influence in songs like “To Be Loved”, “Love is a Game”, and opening track “Strangers by Nature.”

The album itself presents as a modern pop/jazz mix that could please any new listener and long-time fan. She brings jazz in very much like her contemporary Jessie Ware, but with a much more subdued cohesive melody.

Just an absurdly overrated one trick pony. The lower register of her voice sounds good, but it quickly gets very harsh when she tries to reach for the higher notes.

The world, of course, is going to go crazy for this trash again, but I will stick with much more sophisticated artists like Jessie Ware and Roisin Murphy.

I find it strange so many people are triggered enough to comment negatively! If you don’t like it, scroll on, it isn’t made for you. Adele speaks to people’s emotions. If you like artists who pander to trends, she isn’t for you. She speaks from her heart and her music always tells a story and feels authentic. Another brilliant record.

Love the song, it’s just amazing and a lovely comeback from her long awaited break - as she spoke herself it’s not supposed to be such a large hit like Rolling In the Deep and previous singles but to start a more comforting feel to one of her songs.

I never really cry, haven’t cried for years, but that incredible voice and the emotion just cuts through me. There is no-one else on the world that I have heard that has this effect. Just amazing and what a star. X

Really; you return after an extended absence with this quite frankly boring track… Yes she can sing, but the material is dreadful; old fashioned and nothing new… it could have been sung by anyone really; and still stinks!! Of course it will sell 1000’s to those that are either easily pleased, or deluded… it’s just so ordinary that nothing here jumps out; more just plain old (fashioned) average… good one for insomnia though!! 🥱

Watched the video, listened to the lyrics, all so boring.

The first new song from this new awaited album, sounds like it was leftover from the previous album.

Five years in the making, in this space of time she could of explored some other styles to her music.

The lyrics again about sad relationships, break ups and heartache.

After the last two years I think people need some uplifting music.

Something a bit more upbeat (like she used to do) would cheer us up rather than put everyone into a state of depression.
