What a way to celebrate with an album packed of poptastic hits to celebrate an incredible 25 years of Steps. Including some reworked classics , just play it and turn it up loud. Long live Steps and thank you for the last amazing 25 years!

Steps really are the royalty of pop. This album shows how it’s done! Hit after hit; they are still going and topping the charts.

It may be 25 years on but the music gets better. All the way back to 1997 with 5678 up to the present day bop of The Runner, disco tune showing hints of an 80s dance vibe. I may have these songs on many other releases but having them all together on this bumper edition shows the titans of British pop music are just getting better……keep the new music coming and let’s hope for a platinum tour next year!!

This album is just amazing a mixture of new and old. If your a steps fan you definitely need this album. The runner is just amazing!!!

I hope Madonna gets to number 1. Her remix collection Finally Enough Love is just incredible and a real collection of newly released stuff thats never before been available. Big fan of both but Madonna deserves her 14th number 1 album for sure

If you are a true STEPS fan then you will already own or have the majority of the songs featured on the Platinum Collection. Steps previous two greatest hits albums (Gold & Ultimate Collection) are great but this new album has to be the best as it not only contains the material from the past but now adds the hits from their last 3 studio albums (which all got to No.2 in the charts). So whats new I hear you say and the reason for fans buying is you get the new single ‘Hard 2 forget’ & also another new song called ‘The Runner’ (both of these are covers but STEPS excel at covers don’t they). You also get a short remix of Deeper Shade of Blue together with the Steve Anderson 25th Anniversary remixes of One for Sorrow, Stomp & Tragedy. These remixes are fab especially Tragedy with its Wedding theme/bells intro (I got a feeling this was played live during Party on the Dancefloor tour at the end when the girls wore their wedding dresses)! Besides all the hits you also get a couple of fan favourites like ‘Paradise Lost’, ‘Love U More’, ‘Just Like The First Time’ & ‘No More Tears On The Dancefloor’. The only single missing, as far as I can tell, is ‘Light Up The World’ taken from album of the same name. This was the Christmas themed album so I guess STEPS thought it was best kept separate from this collection. So there you have it, 25 years of STEPS all on one album. Let’s get this to No.1 and celebrate one of the best pop bands in history!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a fantastic collection and a proper bargain for the price! So many hits and some rare songs too! I’d forgotten my love for ‘Love U More’! As a collection, I was a little sad they didn’t do this many songs on the vinyl version of the release (but not marking this digital collection down for that - this is just an immense slice of pop history). I would have also loved for it to include ‘Lay All Your Love On Me’ but it’s available elsewhere :) This is still a 5* collection!

What an amazing collection of singles. I remember when the news broke of their split in 2001. My Aunt told me they would be forgotten within a year. I replied with “they’ll be back in 10 years and go straight to number 1…”.

And the funny thing is… Every album they’ve brought out since their comeback has hit number 1 on iTunes…

Let’s hope this album is that record breaking 4th number 1 album in 4 consecutive decades.

I do love Steps - more so in recent years than when they started out. this is great mix of old new and lesser known tracks, but i wish they had been placed in relase order. Firslty i think it is more fun seeing the order of release (as it so easy to forget) and also as i'm not such as fan of all the early stuff, I'd often prefere to jump to the newer releases. I know I can creat my own play liasts but for me there is nothing beter than putting a CD in the car or the home Hi-Fi and pressing PLAY!

This looks a fantastic album but what is up with the track list? There seems no order to it, it seems all over the place.

25 years since they started and still going strong. Everyone dismissed them and they proved everyone wrong. Roll on next 25 years 🥰

Pointless release. You could just create your own playlist with there hit songs. Just a way to cash in, i won’t be supporting it
