Not sure why people bang out albums that feel like they were recorded quickly with little thought and produce music with a mixing desk rather than a band, and this sounds like the vocal was laid down over an over synthesised backing track to me…

I’ve always loved Adam’s vocals , he has amazing talent , I wish he got the recognition he deserves. Love this album ❤️

I find it ironic hat Adam's solo career is basically following the same path, musically and quality as Freddie Mercury - the very person he took over from in Queen.

This is utter rubbish, cheap club dance, again very like Freddie Mercury (the best male frontman for a bamd of all time) with his solo material during and after Queen. Dreadful covers, cheap and nasty production, and adam really has turned onto the very stereotype you'd expect. Production is so cheap and nasty. The cover art makes him look like an overweight Rylan impersonator.

Adam, possibly one of the best frontmen of the 21st century for Queen, could, and should do better.

His version What Do You Want From Me song from Pink all those years ago proves he CAN be a good solo artist, with the right people around him.

This however is bottom of the barrel, cheap nonsense, you'd expect beter from the frontman of the biggest band in theb world. He needs to do a solo rock album, of original material.

Why can’t he write his own music? Easy for someone with a good voice to make a cover and sound amazing, but it’s not really! Just a lazy way of making profit. Sorry but not for me !

Great album from the great Queen frontman, I so love his vocal range.

He has a good voice but I can barely hear it, the album has been over produced and his voice is not clear enough on the tracks.

Such a great album, love how he makes everything his own. For those who didn’t realise, he does have 4 albums of original song, get off your backside and do some research ;)

Why do people go on about this being a covers album? This is his interpretation of those songs. Artists have being doing this for years....Ella Fitzgerald sang Cole Porter and Gershiwn songs, but they were not written for her. It was her interpretation. Good luck to Adam, although some of the songs are not my cup of tea

I can’t understand why some people write reviews that aren’t about the material. If covers aren’t your thing, don’t listen. It was pretty clear what this album was.

So, on its own merits, the album is great. Some very original approaches to some of the songs and all very polished.

‘Mad About The Boy’ didn’t deliver anything new and therefore less engaging than the original, so it feels out of place. Great to hear new life breathed into ‘Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?’ and ‘Ordinary World’; the originals are great, but these both took the songs in a new direction so I think they count as ‘originals’ in their own way.

Not his best originals were classics, not liking a lot of the arrangements sorry

100% wouldn’t be getting 1 stars if it was Ed Sheeran or any other artist the U.K. normally creams themselves over or wasn’t gay. Simple as that.

Adam can do a cover album as his released non cover albums for all his career. His voice alone allows him to do this and the album proves it.

I wouldn’t bother coming to U.K. Adam, it doesn’t deserve you! Save your flight miles mate.

Whoever said average quite clearly doesn’t listen to Adams singing, this album maybe a covers album but my god he has certainly put his very own spin on it! Getting older is beautifully sung and Ordinary World definitely doesn’t disappoint by any means. Can’t wait to hear more from Adam!

A bunch of cool songs slowed down and over sang by yet another average singer. Ooh La La - holding out for a hero, is channeling Goldfrapp. Sounds like the music has been lifted straight off the track lol.
