I like a lot of ED's music but this latest offering is below his usual high standards. Mybe take some time out and pen a much better albumn next time?

this album is so beautifully made, the lyrics have so much meaning in them compared to most albums and it’s even more special that he wrote it for the fans and not for the charts🍂🤍

Loved Ed’s original pieces and watched him grow over the year super ecstatic with this album and great to hear him bringing back his original style ❤️can’t wait for the future tunes… album on repeat

As with all his albums completely forgettable, same formula on each album so far and the music that I’ve heard from this album is just another cash cow.

All credit due to Ed for doing what he wants to do artistically and not churning out music by numbers which he was in danger of doing before Aaron Dessner came into the mix. The National as simply great. Looking forward to hearing it!

Have tried to play a sample of all of these tracks and I have to agree with diyggf6. They are great songs. Absolutely perfect as you cannot hear them. I can recommend you listen to the actual Enigma Variations. Elgars offering is perfection, while Sheerans previous albums are boring, formulaic garbage.

Just Pre ordered my hat and vinyl combo. Can’t wait to hear this. I have so much respect for Ed, his music is the soundtrack to my life.. thanks mate ❤️❤️❤️
