This is even better than the Notre Dame concert of New Year’s Eve 31.12.2020. While there is considerable content overlap, the pieces are subtly updated, reimagined and remixed. There is greater emotional depth; more “soul.” I can hear Marc-Antoine Charpentier in the opening piece. While some melodies are really haunting, the more modern dance tracks sound as if they have been handed down to us from 40 years in the future. Thank you JMJ for responding to our request for an album of your 25.12.23 mixed reality concert from the Hall of Mirrors. Once again it witnessed exceptional cultural innovation. Wow.
