Everyone song is very special different genres

Update : Fri 13th Sept 2924. Yep! There are tracks on here that surpass previous material, tracks that had me holding my breath, a track so good it brought a tear to my eye and overall this album is class! There is a nice balance to upbeat and slow too. 9/10 for me. Original post : I like the latest tracks. They are quality. I just don’t love them. I kind of feel that Gary feels he must chase hits like Coldplay and it’s kind of removed their edge. Looking back over their albums, I can pull Final Straw out, still, and adore it. It’s gritty textures and ever-changing tempos, sometimes within the same track, has me hooked. I think that’s it really. Nice songs just not fascinating songs that gave them 80-90% of their appeal. But, who knows where this may go? The album is yet to be heard in full and so all I can do is live in hope. I can only hope they remain able to use expletives like the eff word so effectively. It reflects the realities of life and artists should not be denigrated for that. Most middle aged folk I know use expletives in real life and any dumbing down of society is a threat to folks freedom of expression. Remember that. Anyway, I digress… I will review my review in due course upon album release and mark it up or down but , for now, it’s good, just not effing brilliant….

Snow Patrol are back slightly different set up but still delivering the powerful emotion that connects with your soul. Track after track takes you on a journey

All is giving me very heavy U2 sounding vibe with me personally I love but the others leave a lot to be desired

What’s shame waited so long for this crude dreary song, I was hoping for a good melody and that at their age they wouldn’t still be singing like grumpy teenagers who had been asked to tidy their bedrooms. It’s embarrassing listening to mature men desperate for street cred.
