get Lewis in yer life

I'm with Hooperman - if you think that you have heard everything, try Lewis Taylor - he deserves much more recognition than he's rec'd-maybe Robbie covering Lovelight will do it for him?Do yourself a favour in this homogenised pop world of today - Just buy it.....

Just search out & buy all of his stuff!!

I first heard of Lewis Taylor a fair few years ago. I bought his debut album (Island) and it knocked me out - great grooves, great vocals and each song seemed to build to fantastic anthemic codas. His second album for Island was a minor disappointment but it still had enough great tunes, grooves and performances to warrant a place in any collection.
I ain't sure, but I think Stoned Part 1 was his third album and was released through his own label. It's a gem!! If you like edgy soul/R&B influenced music (with a twist), search out and buy all of his stuff. He's to good to miss!

Unbelievable talent!

Lewis is one of the most original, creative and soulful musician working today. If you're fed up with the same old conveyor-belted rubbished served up on a daily basis, try listening to Mr Taylor's complete output. It fresh, original and beautifully crafted. He really does deserve much, much more recognition than he gets, but I've a feeling he doesn't really care. Have a listen to this and then go back and listen to his earlier stuff and then buy it all. He also does a great cover of 'Eighteen with a bullet' which was featured in 'Lock, Stock'. Come on, let's give Lewis the support he really deserves, then perhaps we'll hear a bit more from him.
Oh and by the way, I bet he's a nice bloke too.
