Not as frenetic as some of his other work. More spacious with big reverberations.
All for the better in my opinion. Definately a Warp poster boy. "Dew on Mouth " is one of the gems here that will take your mind to places, It reminds me of Boards of Canada, at their best.

Ridiculous
Chris Clark with this album makes the tag 'musician' seem 2 dimensional, this is something else, this is like a sonic equivalent to landscaping and architecture but with moments of awe-inspiring emotion.

Herr Bar, need I say more.
The drums are compressed beautifully, combined with some amazing rhythms and synthesized sounds. You know what, I'm gonna listen to again

Warp Records. Mmmm mmm.
If Warp had such a thing as a poster child, then Clark should be it. He's definitely on to something in the way that he plants tunes in this ablum that have the juiciest hooks, but are infused with textures that baffle the ear. Listen to Roulette Thrift Run, then just try to kid yourself that anyone - anywhere - has done anything as good that is similar.

An ultimate new album + single, Ted. Great powerful electronica! Hurray!

Brilliant!
"Superbly sculpted" indeed! I've only recently heard this album, and instantly I fell in love with it. The first half of the album is excellent, especially Herr Bar, Herzog and Ted. It does trail off a bit in the second half, but good songs like Night Knuckles keep it going. The songs blend together perfectly and it's obviously had a lot of time spent simply on organisation. The rhythmic beats and acidic melodies are fantastic, and this album is full of surprises. A must-buy for any electronica fan.

wow...buy it
Electronic music wasn't really my thing... but this guy is sick, ive been dribbling over this album since i bought it a couple of months ago. This album is for everyone, its full of glitchy beats and phat sequences. One listen to Ted and you'll be hooked......the whole album is amazing. Its a more tuneful, less disonant Aphex.
