Godfathers of Horrorpunk

Quite simply put, with The Misfits of the 1977-1983 era, many of the metal and rock bands we know and love wouldn’t be the same or even exist at all!
‘Walk Among Us’ is one of their Crown Jewels, for a band who were notoriously DIY, this album sounds pretty damn good, clean production and rammed full of catchy tunes!
As one of their most well known albums it features plenty of fan favourites such as; “Skulls”, “Astro Zombies”, and “Night Of The Living Dead”.
You’d be hard pushed to find a band song on this album.. and to be honest, I don’t think the Danzig era of the misfits made a bad song at all... (apart from maybe the Allan Sherman cover..)
So if you’ve never heard this landmark album I suggest you give it a try, it might just change your life.

So Sublime

These guys are the absolute best at what they do & are Always fabulous fun. Without doubt the Glen Danzig era Misfits represent the cream of the genre. Love them to bits. On vinyl, I had them all on import, & then again on Japanese import on special tuff vinyl. How I enjoy them!!

Simply The Greatest Album Ever Made...

I remember the first time I heard this album, I got these shivers down my spine. I was blown away by how cool this music was. As a big horror and punk fan, to have the two together was amazing. And in all the years since I've bought this album, I've yet to hear an album as amazing as this one.
Walk Among Us is perhaps the band's most B-Movie related album (unless you count the Michael Graves' era). Taking influences from old movies such as Night of the Living Dead & Astro Zombies, this album provides that perfect halloween soundtrack.
Every song is as fast and furious as the next. Each track is full of catchy melodies and 'whooooaaaas' and Glenn Danzig's lyrics are the best in the world. His voice sounds like a Elvis but a really dark Elvis.
Amazing, buy it!

A Landmark album. A classic.

Quite simply one of the best pop / punk albums ever recorded. A timeless classic. Rough around the edges in terms of production and performance but the songwriting and melodies provided a blue print for subsequent generations to plunder and imitate. And how they did.....
