This is an appalling collection of travesties, can we please send the culprits to the guillotine! The arrogance of anyone thinking they have the right to 'remix' a Nina Simone song simply beggars belief.

As for the 're-imaginings' - well I wish they wouldn't. If you do not understand something in the first place how can you re-imagine it? If you understood the songs you know that to re-imagine them is at best arrogant, and at worst impertinent, crass and vulgar.

I should sue these people for emotional distress.

a great remix album with some brilliant versions of nina simone's classics with the most well known being ain't got no/i got life from the muller adverts. definitely recommend buying it even if you dont like nina simone as it is a great chillout/lounge album with all the songs being easy to listen to. a good buy.
