The album is great and I love Green Day but it says Holiday and Boulevard of Broken Dreams can only be bought with album? It's really confusing

Most definitely one of the most iconic and best punk/rock albums ever made, almost every song on this album is just pure genius enough said

With songs like wake me up "when september ends" and "boulevard of broken dreams" as quite emotional songs but with great guitar solos contrasing with "holiday" and "American idiot" this albumn has a great overall view of green day however i would also recomend definetly buying "international super hits" and 21st century breakdown albumns also as they also have trually ggreat songs

Quite simply the best album ever created, nota bad song on their and at least 10 world class songs. If your'e a rock fan and you don't have this album then you need to sort yourself out. There quite simply isn't a word in the English dictionary to describe how good this album is.

Oh my wow, this album...its just perfect! every track is so meaningful and amazing you can really rock out too, green day hit the nail on the head perfectly. there are so many songs that get looked past like give me novacaine and letterbomb! everone says green day was best before american idiot but i disagree, THEY ARE ALWAYS GOOD! i have every single album and each one is just as amazing as the other, i absoloutly lovve green day and they are my absoloute favourite band, this album is prefect in every way BUY IT NOW OR YOU WILL REGRET IT..

Green day have to be my favourite band ever. They're so rebellious, and I love the political message in sings like holiday, and american idiot. I also love jesus of suburbia, not many bands can pull off a nine-minute song! Whatsername and homecoming are also standouts, but just buy the whole album! The only downside is that some songs should be separate, but it doesn't matter when you listen to the album on repeat. ELECT BILLE-JOE FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my favourite Green Day album; all the songs are really catchy and original, and it shows that the band are capable of producing songs longer that 2 or 3 minutes- Jesus of Suburbia and Homecoming are both over 9 minutes. I would only have two small criticisms- I don't like how some of the songs are joined together, as you don't know where one finishes and the other ends, and also they repeat lyrics quite a lot, for example 'Jesus of suburbia' appears in at least 3 songs. Overall though it's a great album, reminds me why I love Green Day and Billie Joe Armstrong's amazing voice, I love the instrumentals too and I would highly recommend the deluxe version for the bonus tracks etc. Love it! :-)

Green Day never let down and this is by far their best album. Nothing beats the song Jesus of Suburbia. This whole album is epic and so is the amazing musical based on this album. You will not regret paying £7.99 for this album. I first heard this a year ago and I still cannot stop listening to this masterpiece of rock music! Nuff said.

The original version was the album that got me listening to good music, and now I find out there's more?!? I'd reccomend getting the normal version of this album and buying the three bonus tracks separately. It costs a little more but all the songs are divided up properly.

A brilliant buy with great songs like American idiot and wake me up when september ends. St Jimmy and Are we the waiting are great aswell. ITunes sort out Too Much Too Soon only being available when you buy the full album and St Jimmy, Are we the waiting, Give me a novacaine, She's a rebel, extrodinary girl and letterbomb should be seperate songs!

Amarican Idiot Is one of the greatest albums ever by one of the greatest bands ever. The bonus tracks are very good. Especially governator. But shoplifter and too much too soon are brill too. GO GREEN DAY!
