Twenty five years later this album still sounds so fresh and showcases the wonderful voice of Jennifer Rush. As she also does her own harmonies - and there are plenty of them, she must have spent hours laying them down, a true professional - this gives the music a very personal feel. Written and produced by a German outfit, the music is very full and warm, as evidenced in tracks like 25 Lovers and Come Give Me Your Hand. Never Gonna Turn Back Again is also of note for its sparse but stomping beat as is the magical atmosphere of I See A Shadow. All in all, an excellent way to start on the (now) 11 album career of Jennifer Rush!
