Blackie Lawless's love of anthemic KISS-style metal is evident throughout, even if the band go way beyond the pale with their extremely sleazy lyrics. The controversial opener Animal will offend those of a sensitive disposition, and the guitar solos will have those with an affinity for 80's metal banging their head's before the week is out. Though Lawless has toned it down these days, this is definetely the band's finest album.

If you want a taste of 80's metal but poodle haircuts & "i love you baby" songs aren't your thing then this is the album for you. Hated by parents & church groups worldwide. Wasp were loud,raw & totally outrageous. Powerful debut & the best Wasp studio album by far.
