This is, as others have said a classic... I have a vinyl of it somewhere and a cassette tape and now a digital copy.

It reminds me of my time at college (LCP), on the first year that the creative screen printing course run and the great bunch of creative people I met, while doing it and never to see them again, except in photographs, including someone called Sally. Who's name appears as a title to one of the great tracks on this album, I remember that we all came from different musical backgrounds, but there was one album that we all loved and this was it.

Second time I bought this, it's what a album should be.

Had to buy this. So many memories of lying in a single bed with my boyfriend listening to Sade's silky tones. Bliss

Had this & listened repeatedly when first released, sorry to say had forgotten all about it. A treasure to find & listen to as if new all over again. pure classic.

This album reminds me of 1984... arriving in London aged 17 from deepest darkest Cornwall...chasing my girlfriend who had gone up to "town" to make a career. She was two years older than me. I cruised about on the tube listening to this album ... love sick but so excited to be in London.Hanging out in Soho in the middle of a Jazz revival !!! Robert Elms ....Live Aid ...jeez This album !!! every sound and beat is still amazing now. I got a job in an advertising agency and loved it ....found my girlfriend ..married her we are now back in Cornwall with a 17 year old daughter ( two others 11 and 5) and I am just about to buy This album again because it is absolute magic and totally timeless ..thanks Sade i am now going to cry!!!

Wow Sade, I dont think I paid anything for this but I have bought it on tape in the past. Would pay a kings ransom to ensure I have it in my collection for ever. Has to be in my list for best album ever

Well I got this album on tape (uh? tape??) when first released and it sounds just as good now... 24 years on !! So just How Good was it then??

I AGREE WITH THE OTHER REVIEWER ABOUT THE PRICE BUT THIS IS A CLASSIC THAT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE IN THEIR COLLECTION HOWEVER YOU GET IT. THIS IS MUSIC TO MELT TO !
