it really does not get any better than this. A band at the peak of their powers before Paddy weaved his way too far from lesser mortals. Make no mistake this is up there with the finest albums of the 1980s. It is flawless.

Lived by this album at University - still sounds great today! A classic album I'm glad to have re-discovered.

Steve McQueen is the Sprouts finest hour, although most of their hours are pretty amazing. This second album is where Paddy McAloon stopped playing word games and created a masterpiece. Thomas Dolby, producing, makes each song sound exquisite, and what songs they are!

Their third album sold more copies and their fourth was a critical smash but for sheer mellow pop this is unbeatable. Those who know this album, rave about it.

I really love this album, I urge you to try it!
