Welcome back - after all the band have been through I'm so thrilled they've made a return! The trademark sound is still there - wonderful. We should all be pleased they're back! Fantastic album - could they ever have made a bad one?

Pleasant enough ,but lacks some bite:it is a bit bland and 'musac-cy'.

The group have strayed away from the more gaelic numbers which their fans are used to.

Its an absolute joy to hear The Rankins again. I thought they'd split for good and stumbled upon this new album by chance a few days ago. I particularly like Departing Song and their voices are all still as good as they were when I first heard of them (12 years ago). Keep up the good work and don't leave it so long til the next album.
