Tam White and the Dexters where such a great band and a massive influence on my musical taste as a teenager. Missed.

Well kept secret!
Tam is one of blues musics best kept secrets. Best enjoyed live in one of the smallish gigs he plays around the uk, especially in Scotland, but nicely captured in the studio for this album.
His knowledge of the greats of the genre and some of the more obscure artists is a good basis for some of his tracks which he imbibes with his own gravelly charisma, but for me, it's his own songs that really show him at his best, allowing his varied, and sometimes bizarre experiences to transport you to another place.
As I say, at his best live on stage in a cosey venue where he freely interacts, but an artist with a great studio back catalogue too. Just not on iTunes (at time of writing).
Keep an eye out for him as an extra in many Scottish based or made films - including Braveheart.
