One of Mike

First off…Mike is a Lancastrian born and bred, not a Yorkshireman…He is a comedian of great talent, social commentator par excellence, song writer Folk aficionado and writer, and genuinely nice bloke, having met him on his "Footloose in the Himalaya's" tour many years ago. Buy this album….you won't regret it.

Memories

Was born in Crumpsall in 66 and this so reminds me of my childhood. Loved this as a young teenager and glad to listen to it again. Cheers Mike.

What a Gem!!!!

This really takes me back. This is one of the few albums I never had on vinyl, and as I no longer have a turntable, it makes it a tad difficult to listen to them. If this is the only album I get to hear again then I'm never going to be disappointed. It's got the songs, the Lancashire humour - everything!Thank you very much Mrs. 'arding's Kid.

Harding at his peak

Listening to this album when my brother brought in back from a Harding gig at a folk club in Scunthorpe made me decide when I was old enough to buy a guitar and get down my local club in the upstairs room of a pub.
Nostalgic for me, perhaps an experience of a culture that is fading fast for you?

Great Little Album

This is a great little album and worthy of respect. Whilst King Cotton is likely to be the most purchased track, Top of the Pops is a charming piece of 1970's nostalgia that is possibly one of the funniest routines ever by a British Comic. take a bow, mike

Great Quality

I used to listen to a scratched an battered vinyl of the one man show when I was younger, belonging to my Dad, and it has me in stitches laughing even now. I was born in Crumpsall (and lived in Blackley for my first 10 years) and even though I was born in '74 this reminds me of growing up, days out to Blackpool and cub trips to Ashworth Valley.
It's great to find this on iTunes so I can enjoy it again and the quality is amazing considering it was recorded in the 70's.
