Listening to many Scottish Dance bands one can be de-sensitised to Scottish dance music in general. This musn't happen! John Carmichael's Ceilidh is very different especially with the prominent banjo playing which adds to the 'hooch' factor. Remember when you're dancing and it's going like a 'fair' we all 'hooch' This is very much a foot tapping recording with excellent and varied dances.
