This is a really fantastic album, it does have a lot references to big band, soul and funk from decades past and that's what makes this great! These musical terms and phrases are in everybodys DNA and Mocean Worker has expertly weaved them into a selection of tracks that just keep grooving!! I always feature this album, and tracks from equally excellent Enter the Mowo album in my party playlists, and it is always the Mocean Worker tracks that make people stop and ask "who is this?" It's real standout stuff! Buy it, you'll be glad you did!
