Blues Masterclass.

Even if you're not a fan of Blues or Seasick Steve (I happen to be massively into both), £1.29 is well worth a punt if you want to listen to something different. Whole-heartedly recommend this album, 'Cut my Wings' being the pick of the lot.

The Best £1.29 you could spend

Title says it all, 5 great blues track. Gravel voice and rough guitar but full of character.
would strongly recomend this EP as an introduction too Seasick Steve

Spellbinding Delta Blues

Seasick Steve's star has risen in leaps and bounds over the last few years, and it's not too hard to see why. Having been to see him in Newcastle I can recommend the experience hugely, as it was the best concert I have ever seen. He has a quality that most brand new stars can't allude to - authenticity. As he sits up there on the stage chugging away, the audience gets drawn in to the story he weaves, finding themselves smiling away without remembering why. The music he plays is written from experience rather than expertise, and it makes it all the more endearing. "Started out with Nothin..." is his best outing yet, but this is a good introduction also. Sit back with your preferred tipple and enjoy!

It's ok...

...but not great. The recording quality is quite poor, even for something that only costs £2. I bought it because i saw him on Jools Holland's Later programme and he was excellent. I'm sure his latest album is much better with better production on it.

Good value

I bought this E.P. as I'm going to see him next week and don't know very much about his music.
I find it very pleasant and innoffensive.
He has a surprisingly youthful sounding voice and reminds me of Eric Bibb.
If, like me, you try to test your musical boundaries once in a while then have a crack at this.
for a couple of quid it's not much of a risk.

Good value

its not all that great to be honest "xmas prison blues" and "its a all good" in my opinion are the best tracks but a bit too repetative even so, for £1.99 and if u like blues you mite as well buy it.
