Micheal Woods...... you are a Genius

It's all down to indivivdual taste I know, but put on a serious set of headphones, buy the Micheal Woods Full Vocal Mix, crank up the volume and enjoy. This is an excellent mix of what is effectively three songs in one.

a great remix

I am very glad Chicane did this properly and in doing so got rid of the rather average version going around. Someone else had tried to do this mash up but did such a hatchet job that i cringed everytime i heard it. Chicane have rescued it and made a bad natasha bedingfield track very cool and reminded us all of his genius.
Keep it coming Nick!

OK but.

This is basically a lack-lustre vocal slapped onto one of Chicane's, scrub that, one of the world's best dance tracks of all time.
This is an insult to the original IMO.
Still people will buy it and play it because it reminds them of the good old SW days.

Great track but not Chicane's idea

"Bruised Water" is a great track was it not for the fact that Chicane stole the idea from a smaller artist called Prosac without giving him any credit in return.

Fantastic Dance Tune

I've been waiting for this to come out ever since I first heard it in a club. A great dance tune made up of two tracks which shouldn't work but coincide superbly.

Awesome, can we have the video Itunes!

As above, best song of 2008.

Ignore the cover

Ignore the cover - someone is obviously trying to be clever/witty; please don't. Skip to the music and enjoy something that should have been here years ago. I wish it was on my iPod last week in Ibiza as it was being rinsed all over the island and couldn't get it outta my head. Every one a killer mix and if the other reviews are to be believed an great introduction to a long awaited greatest hits...

Is is the best Chicane can do?

Chicane are good but this track isn't worth the 5 stars its been getting. Its a mundane attempt at a remix.
With a fair amount of time since the last Chicane release, if an old N. Bedingfield song mixed with one of his own old tunes is the best he can do, i'm worried.

Truely Is The Ibiza Track Of 2008!

Chicane is back and better than ever with the awesome, addicting mash up sounds of 'Saltwater' and 'I Bruised Easily'.
Haven't stopped playing this since back in early June when I got the promo.
BUY. IT. NOW. :D

Absolutely Fantastic!

Hopefully this is an indication of a mighty return for Chicane. The Michael Woods Dub is a club classic in the making and hopefully Bruised Water will make an appearance in the forthcoming Best Of album later this year. Chicane still seem to bo going strong after 12 years! Well Done!

The Essential Soundtrack To Your Summer 2008!

If your anything like me and a big Saltwater fan, then this is for you. This is a great complilation of various mixes by artists such as Michael Woods and Micha Daniels and all featuring the fantastic vocals of Natasha Bedingfield. Whilst maintaining the orginal 'Chicaney' sound we have all come to know and love, these tracks strongly promote the new range of electro-beats and custom samples found on Nick Bracegirldle's more recent album 'Somersault'. An absolute must buy, clear a space on your favourite Chicane shelf and plug in your iPod, Bruised Water is going to be around for a long time to come!

Another superb track from Chicane

A track thats taking dance floors and festivals around the world by storm, a solid mash up of Natasha Bedingfields "I bruise easily" and chicanes anthem "Saltwater". Loving this-especially the Michael Woods edit. This single release will be followed by a Chicane "best of" album (so far) during Sep/Oct 2008. Creative musical artistry at it's best - I love Chicane!! :)
