Love it! The clarity is amazing and the orchestra play soooooo well. Couldn't have chosen a better CD to buy.

Why didn't I read the reviews?
The sound quality is very poor, electronic hissing in the background is very noticeable on any system, especially through the headphones.

Stay away if you expect hi-fi
Needless to say, the compositions are genius, but the quality is terrible. I can clearly hear hissing and strange artifacts even when using a mid-range pair of in-ear headphones (Westone UM2, if anyone's wondering). Shame.

Worth Buying
The London Symphony Orchestra are my favourite so I always enjoy having any of their work, and overall Beethoven's symphonies are excellent. But there are some moments of poor quality. Despite this, the album is practically being given away.

Very poor quality recorded at the start of the last movement of teh 9th symphony - don't buy, if this is of any importance to you.
