These are all solid versions of some great songs but the problem lies with the singer. Daniel O' Donnell can hit all the right notes and has a really nice singing voice but his vocal style is and always has been too bland. He sings a song well but unlike Rogers, Cash, Haggard etc he lacks the emotion and feeling they could bestow in their vocals. Perhaps the best cover on the CD is that of the John Denver hit "Back home again" because Daniel has a similar style to John's. I can sit and tap my feet or sing along to this CD but I'd sooner listen to the originals.

I love this album, in fact i love everything daniel does, he is a top guy with a top voice, so those of you who have come to criticise can i ask one question if you don't like this guy why you listening to his music in the first place? eminem now there is a guy with no talent and he can't make a c.d. without the bad language, this is nice clean sophisticated music for people with real taste in music looking forward to seeing you next thurs daniel x

Wonderful quite lissening

hey this is a good cd and I would like to say that I am a music lover and just coz I like Daniel's music it don't mean I ant got taste. I like the old and the new, this music is relaxin and I most of the new music is good for partying. so come on all you Daniel lovers post yr reviews and stand up to those idiots who ant got taste.

WHY do folk love this guy? The reviewer who said that all the songs sound the same is dead right - they all sound equally BAD!!!! Mr O'Donnell's fans are OBVIOUSLY not music lovers!!

Ok some of the songs on here are ok. but he has completely ruined Johnny Cash's ring of fire come on its awful why? and kenny rogers song lucille an other no. please if u like them u dont have any tate dan u done them wrong try again and maybe do it alot better. and same with the highwaymen seven spanish angels a big no just not working. please stop.

This album has just one song thats been renamed 19 times, there's no other reason for it sounding the same all the way through. I want my sanity back, ahem!! ... i mean money.

This is pure dross. Its the kind of music people listen to when they decide to go for a 'sunday drive' down the M6 at 39 MPH.

Also, why does Daniel always have to smile like a cat with a cream flavoured @*&%hole in every picture?

This is one of the best C.D's from Daniel in Years. I have brought every single, 4 track and C.D since we met in 1983 and Ray and I love this one, it's sounds like the Daniel we all loved all those years ago. Please Daniel do some more dates in the U.K as we are all missing you Jan and Ray xxx
