Was looking for Wasis Diop and via a few other recommendations stumbled across this. Rhythmic, sexy and mellow - there isn't a track out of place

Brenda Boykin is a ferocious vocalist. The music and her voice sends me everytime. Who cares if Love In Town sounds like This Is What You Are.....they are both great tracks so go buy!

Love this LP from Brenda Boykin, especially the tracks Freedom Song and the funky Ride Rich Rhythm. Backing track by Bahama Soul Club with Brenda's fine vocals added to the mix. Well worth checking out if your into funk, soul, nu jazz & latin beats! Check out my i-mix which includes 2 tracks from this LP.

.... how "Love is in Town" sounds so very much like Mario Biondi "This is What you Are" !!

I get the feeling I am supposed to like this album, but I just can't get beyond the point I have made above.
