A Grand Don't Come for Free is what you get when you mix Coronation Street with This is England. It's bloody terrific.

Fresh concept but 'Blinded By The Lights' was the only one that really stood out. It's just so much more depressing than the others even though it's about him taking ecstasy or whatever, the tune just feels more poignant. Good for when feeling down or whatever.

Thought I'd buy this as I used to like The Streets years ago...oh how my tastes have changed! Skipped virtually every track. Still like Dry Your Eyes and Fit But You Know It but the rest of it is just a bloke talking over some music really! Wish iTunes did refunds!

Amazing. Lyrically genius, musically spellbinding, it's impossible to hate. Every track is a winner.

This album is superb and needs to be listened to from start to finish in one go. What is he thinking is incredible!

I fell in love with this album from the first time I heard it, a brillint follow up to Original Pirate Material. It still make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!

This album is probably one of the best I own. From start to finish it is amazing. Very clever and the final track 'Empty Cans' is quality.

Excellent modern day concept album. Individual songs work well but taken in from start to finish it is a lyrical masterpiece of interwoven incidents which unravel like the plot of a British movie!

All the songs sound the same the man is a manic depressive.

A brilliant half concept follow up record. A story of my life almost. Easy to relate to and great tunes to boot. Bargain.
