Reading the reviews below, the vast majority are like me, completely blown away by Newton's genius and gob-smacked that he could produce a follow-up, not only to match, but exceed Handbuilt by Robots. There are also the usual one star haters, sad, bitter people who probably didn't even buy the album. However, there are a few that claim to be disappointed Newton fans, who use the words 'over production', which really means they prefer Newton's more acoustic tracks. Fair enough, but as a Newton fan from way before his first album, I can only say that this album has a huge range of tracks that really should please everyone - from Been Thinking About it, which was recorded live with just guitar and voice, to the big productions like If This Is It and Over and Out, which are obviously mainly intended for radio. IMHO I think it's got everything that Handbuilt by Robots had and more, but the most exciting thing is looking forward to seeing what he does when he plays them live - I'll be right at the front, if possible, watching those magical fingers and feet!
