This is gold! But disappointed their album wasn't as good as this EP.

Amazing! Best band by far that captures the 80's synth so well!

Just like the other two reviews say here, this band are amazing they have 80's hooks , 80's melodys without sounding corney. Brilliant songwriting. Neon Love sounds like Depeche Mode with a big Jolly/Swain production going on, or is it the Scary Thieves!, can't wait for the album, (why hasn't it been released yet? keep up the good work, Tesla boy come very close to "I've been waiting for this sort of music for 20 years and it's finally arrived" believe me.

Every now and again, you discover something completely by accident which you thought never happen, as its qualities are so to your taste you wonder how on earth it could have ever passed you by.

Tesla Boy are absolute testament to this. People may scoff at bands that resurrect the styles of old, but when you look at the bland, clinical nature of most modern pop music, bands like this should be welcomed.

The quality of the songs are what is important, not the style. And Tesla Boy have such a fine roster of songs, its hard to believe this is such a young band with a debut album out in early 2010.

It makes you think just how massive they would have been when this music was more in vogue. I seriously hope they claim the respect they deserve and not found so accidentally like I did.

I happened to stumble across this EP lying in bed flicking through the iTunes store on my iPhone. I have to say this find was so random but ended up being one of my best buys ever. 80s style electro pop - you can hear PSB, Duran Duran, Talk Talk - well, a lot of groups, but it sounds very modern. AND, they're from Russia! How random is that! To go Spinal Tap on this - crank it up to 11 and dance away or simply bump your head up and down on the subway looking how cool this music makes you feel. Bliss.
