I should add to my last review some concrete pointers as to where this music has come from and where its going to.

It is, without doubt, rooted firmly in the Weather Report/Joe Zawinul vein. Indeed, Scott Kinsey (on keys) was Joe's co-producer for his last two albums before his untimely passing.

What these guys have done is to take that influence, and fuse it with more "Rock" and taken it to a younger and fresher perspective.

This is simply wonderful music if you like high energy electronic jazz music. Luckily for me, its what life is worth living for (as well as love and food of course…)
