Heard "A Drowning" on TV show "The Following" (season 3, episode 3). Beautiful and haunting. The EP is no longer available free from the band’s website (at least not presently), so I went ahead and bought the track from iTunes. If "A Drowning" also brought you here, be aware that some of the other tracks are noisier / heavier / less gentle on the ear, so preview them first if considering buying the full EP.

Tent reznor a man that fails to disappoint

Yes, It is free on howto (dot) destroyangels (dot) com, but I bought it because I love NIN, and I Love Trent Reznor. I didn't even previewed any song, I just bought it. And let me say, It was one of the best purchases I've ever made on my life... Mariqueen Maandig, Trent Reznor, and Atticus Ross made such an album, with a plethora of good songs...

I suport Trent because he is such an awesome musician with superfluous talent... And this album was not the exception

Very nice sounds and layers of sounds here but then I would expect no less from Trent Reznor. Does his lady have a voice that can deliver? I'm not sure, maybe, what I missed the most here was Trent's passion in the vocals but I'm still looking forward to hearing more.

The track A drowning was what did it for me , its very good ~ something different really like the female voice.

Who knows. once the film sound track there working on at the moment is completed ~ Maybe then more from " How to destroy angles " .

Beautiful musical textures from Trent, and his wife's voice is a fantastic new addition. I wasn't expecting to like it, but I was wrong! Free download from the website, but I don't mind paying for something that I love!

Trent has said NIN won't tour again :( but he will make music as NIN again :)

This EP is a reminds me of Hurt in a few places. Quiet and full of pain and depression. The female vocals really work, Mrs Reznor has an interesting voice.

Can't see this band eclipsing NIN, but they could go on to big things, and hopefully we'll see Trent tour with them.

As the previous reviewer said, why pay for this on iTunes (bless em, I love them normally) when the Trent has made it available for free download via the band website? Maybe he could release any future free stuff via iTunes?! Then a paid for album to say thanks to Apple.

Trent Reznor has really taken a new direction with this band, with the introduction of a female vocalist and the damping down of a lot of the songs. They are tense, often firm in the face of hysteria, and full of angst and depression, mania and madness, and other acid-related influences. I have no real preference among the songs; they are all worth avoiding after a hard day at work for sheer stress factor, but with a decent mental state it's a very well composed, put together and sequenced collection of songs, and an interesting new turn towards slower, but nonetheless scary, and still firmly Reznor, music.
