I've been following the progress of this band for years and this album is really the delivery i've been waiting for! Superb blending of punk pop and metalcore, lots of technical playing, aggressive timing changes, its not for the faint at heart. The vocals range from the californian pop punk style through to cookie monster style growls and pretty much everything in between. The layering of vocals is sublime and extremely clever at points. If you're into the darker side of pop punk and melodic rock this is definitely and album to purchase, its not for those who enjoy the current batch of whiney chart bothering pop rock. Its furious, aggressive, powerful, clever and quite simply Ice Nine Kills best work to date.
